According to DownloadSquad, Intel, with about 80,000 employees is not going to upgrade all their employees to Vista. Wow!

A post on OSNews suggests that Windows could use some fresh air.

A post on Computerworld, Dear Microsoft, thanks for the help, Linux, suggests that the opportunity for other OSs will increase as Microsoft phases out easy access to Windows XP.

In Linux/Microsoft related news, Slashdot notes that Microsoft will be more open source friendly with the departure of Bill Gates.

As for the message, Gates smiled and said, "There's not a day that I don't send a piece of e-mail ... like that piece of e-mail. That's my job."
