Microsoft: Don't Wait
OSNews reports that Microsoft is trying to discourage people from waiting: Don't Wait for it, Says Microsoft. A few days ago, this post Microsoft requires Windows 7 driver testing for Vista certification. Starting today. Wha? appeared on Dvorak Unlimited.
Meanwhile, Microsoft releases Windows Search 4.0. I haven't heard of anyone using any previous release and have seen only a little press on Windows Search.

In contrast to this confusion, there is a rumor that Apple may be releasing their next release in January. See Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Coming in January 2009? for details. More information about it may come at the Developer's Conference next week, certainly more about iPhone 2.0!
